Through entertaining and thought-provoking programs, the MAC connects lifelong learners with the visual and performing arts, history and cultures, and creative crafts-making. From talks and tours to films, art workshops, and live performances, there is something for almost every interest. Led by talented artists, scholars, and enthusiasts, each program offers a chance to spark your creativity, share meaningful experiences, and discover something new.

The Iron & Honor Faire 

Celebrate the opening of Iron & Honor: The Art of Knighthood with an afternoon of hands-on activities, live demonstrations, and medieval-inspired fun throughout the museum grounds.

Included with museum admission, this special opening event brings the world of the exhibition to life. Watch armored combat demonstrations, meet costumed characters, and enjoy family-friendly activities inspired by the age of knights. Whether you're a history enthusiast or simply curious about the medieval world, this event offers a lively introduction to the culture, craftsmanship, and legends behind the exhibition.

The Triumph of Love 

Inland Classical Theater is thrilled to present "The Triumph of Love" by Pierre de Marivaux, translated by Stephen Wadsworth. This 18th century French farce (with traditional commedia dell'arte mask work) follows Princess Léonide as she disguises herself as a man and sneaks into the house and garden of the strict philosopher Hermocrates to find the prince she loves. 

This play is in the MAC's outdoor amphitheater. Please dress appropriately for the weather and bring blankets, cushions, snacks, and soft drinks to enjoy a night of farce!

Saturday, July 11th

America at 250 Jubilee 

Join KSPS at the MAC in commemorating the 250th anniversary of America's founding with a special community celebration. There'll be live music, vendors, a beer garden, trivia, and screenings of Ken Burns' documentary "The American Revolution" followed by panel discussions exploring the film.
